Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga. Her mother, Cynthia Louise Bissett, is vice president of Verizon's mobile provider. Cynthia Louise Bissett was the Vice the President of Verizon's mobile network. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr., a businessman and director of an Internet-based company was her father. His family is Catholic and she grew up in the Upper East Side in Manhattan. This is why the parents of her enrolled her at the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a prestigious and exclusive school. When she was little she was an avid music fan. She began to play piano in the very beginning and composed her first song of original composition at age thirteen. Open mic nights were her most favorite. Her top artists of choice included David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. Upon completing high-school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she took music classes. She did not complete her study, but left them to pursue her career in music.
