Ann Curry

Ann Curry is an American journalist and photojournalist who has worked as a journalist for more than 45 years focusing on the suffering of people in war zones and natural disasters. Curry has reported on wars around the globe, including Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Ashland in Oregon is the location where Curry received her degree. In Medford the following year, she began her broadcasting career with KTVL Channel 10 as an intern. At the age 22 she was the first reporter to be female at KTVL. After that, she moved to anchoring and reporting for KGW the NBC affiliate station in Portland.
